Continuous Development of Human Resource

Our staff mainly come from top IT universities in Vietnam and overseas, from specialized IT educational institutions such as FPT Aptech (FPT is a Master Franchise of Aptech India, a world famous IT educational institution in India) and through head-hunter channels.

After the completion of internship or orientation training program (for new comers), there is a wide range of tailored training and examination preparatory courses in the company for staff to attain professional qualifications, enhance technical and management skills for relevant positions. In addition to in-house training, we encourage lifelong learning and offer tuition fee subsides to those who attend recognized classes or certification examinations at academic institutions.

  • Resources Pipeline:
    • Intern Program:
      There are hundreds of interns in our Training Centers, who are being instructed to carry out pilot software projects according to Standard FPT Software processes. These interns are recruited from IT universities (one intake a year). They are required to pass an entrance exam (including IQ, GMAT, English test) and interview, and are then trained part-time for 6 months.

    • Pool Program:
      Our pool program aims to create a working environment for a waiting list of 50 applicants whom we have selected. Normally, each member who joins this program will spend a maximum 3-months training before being selected to join a project in one of our Operation Groups.

    • FPT University:
      FPT University, the first corporately-owned university in Vietnam, is determined to develop a huge pool of IT engineers with international recognition. The 1st batch, which started in January 2007, received 300 students. FPT University currently enrolls 2,000 and plans to have as many as 15,000 students by 2013.
      FPT University is expected to be the important base for FPT’s talent education and serve as the cradle of intermediate and senior technical professionals.
